When I launched my consultancy, UniViz, in April 2024, the goal was clear: help universities leverage HESA Student Record data to make data-driven, evidence-based decisions. It seemed like the perfect time to kick things off — with new data just weeks away giving me some time to build analysis templates and make new connections before diving in.

However, the data release was pushed back. What was initially a slight postponement turned into a few months of waiting — April became June, June became August, and August became October before I could even begin having a conversation about placing an order.

But the wait is over! I’m thrilled to announce that 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗩𝗶𝘇 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮, and we’re officially ready to support universities with valuable insights for programme development, strategic reviews, and much more!

What this means is that exciting projects I’ve been discussing for months can kick off, and I’m finally able to put plans into action.

On a personal note, I’ve also used this time wisely — not just to develop my business and refine our service offerings, but to maximise the time spent with my now 19-month-old son. Balancing career and family has been a priority for me, and I’m grateful for this precious time.
